Management and staff are committed to ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for all employees. Permanent Health and Safety Officers are allocated to our larger sites. Smaller sites are visited regularly by “roaming” HSO's, in order to assist site managers with the SHEQ requirements.

Policy

The policy of Trollope Mining Services is to take all practical steps to ensure the health and safety of our employees and reduce loses. To achieve and maintain these objectives all employees are required to commit themselves to:

• TMS Safety standards; active participation in the implementation as per our Standard Safety policy and procedures;

• contributing to a safe working environment;

• contributing to a productive and efficient working environment;

• avoiding wastage through good housekeeping and order, and publicly supporting the TMS Health and Safety program.

The company fully supports the Safety Management Program and will value achievements in quality and efficiency. Provision of safety equipment and training to all employees ensures an effective program.
